"Here in a little part of Iraq it is very, very, hot. Today it reached 122 degrees and it's supposed to get hotter. The dust storms have been kicking up quite often but we continue to push forward in hopes that one day soon we will all get to go home to our loved ones. Volunteer Ops
Bristol-Myers Squibb employees - more than three dozen - volunteered to work the First Base concession stand at TD Bank Ball park on 7/19/11 to help OPSHBX NJ raise money.
Help Operation Shoebox New Jersey fill the boxes shipped to our troops overseas by running a Saturday or Sunday Supermarket Shopping Spree. Teams of 4-6 people hand out a short list to shoppers as they enter the store and collect the donated items as they exit the store. Hours are from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Teams can work in shifts. It's simple, it's fun, and you're helping to ensure our troops continue to receive care packages from home. Helping to collect supplies is a great service project; hundreds of community service hours have been earned by Scouts, CCD students, honor society students and others.
