Hello again, Greetings from a very hot Iraq. This past month has flown by as we continue to maintain our high operational tempo. The Marines are cycling outside the wire 24/7 and keeping very busy. The temperature reached 111 degrees yesterday and is supposed to reach 115 degrees tomorrow. The heat will continue to rise as we push through July and head into August. We would like to thank everyone for the continued support. The Marines from the company really enjoy the letters and packages that you sent. A lot of you have asked if there is anything in particular that we would like to receive. My answer is to keep sending the same items. I have heard no complaints or requests from the guys and they love the surprises that you send. The Marines don't let anything from the packages go to waste...especially the food. We have a shelf for the books and movies that you send and nothing stays on it very long before another Marine picks it up. The Marines have been taking the toys that are sent out to town with them and handing them out to the local Iraqi children. The Marines do a real good job putting everything you send to good use. I have added three more photos from this past month's operations. The first picture is from one of our convoy's transporting gear between Ramadi and Fallujah. The A-driver took the picture of a rear view mirror with the rest of the convoy behind him. The second photo is from our Route Clearance Platoon. Their primary mission is to locate Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs). In this picture, the platoon has located a possible IED and is about to interrogate the suspicious area with the mechanical arm. The third picture is from some long awaited down time. We found a few hours where half of the company could come together in between missions and had a little BBQ. The Marines had a good time throwing a football around and just relaxing. The company 1stSgt and GySgt found all of the food and prepared it for the Marines. The g
